Imagine yourself taking corners at twice the speed you would on a city street. Feel the air rush by as you “open her up” on the straightaway without worrying about getting a ticket.
A PDX is your opportunity to drive your car safely at and SCCA wants to give you the chance to achieve your
dream.

PDX is SCCA's term for High Performance Drivers Events (HPDE) or more commonly known as Track Days, which are non-competition instructional events that take place at race tracks. If you have never been on a race track, this one’s for you.
SCCA Club Time Trials (CTT) provides a venue for SCCA members who wish to experience higher speeds than the Solo program allows, but who are not ready for Club Road Racing. You race against the clock while you build your driving skills and confidence. Unlike wheel-to-wheel club racing, you run against the clock, striving for consistency.

You Will Be a Better Driver
PDX provides on track instruction, so you gain confidence in your driving skills both on and off the track. Then when you are ready to race against the clock, you move up to Time Trials. The Time Trials Program continues to build your driving ability through the instruction and practice. Competition Classes are formed and winners are determined by best time and consistency in time around the course. Club Time Trials are your first taste of real racing. As you become more confident, you are ready to step into competition, wheel-to-wheel racing.
