Solo I: The insurance practice of piggybacking a Solo I event with a Club race will be allowed again this year and is being reviewed as to whether it should be continued.
CLUB RACING: Comp Board and BoD have approved rewording of GCRs section 17.38 to allow the use of alternate transmissions on a case-by-case basis. This changes the word "automatic" to "alternate" and allows us to better serve the individual needs of our membership.
DRIVERS SCHOOL & REGIONAL AT IRP IS CANCELLED
Indianapolis, IN (March 12, 2001) Indianapolis Raceway Park management has notified Indianapolis Region SCCA that the IRP facility will not be available on April 21-22 due to construction delays. The Drivers School/Regional at IRP scheduled for April 21-22 has therefore been cancelled.
The Indianapolis Region Double Regional @ IRP scheduled for May 5-6 will be conducted as planned.
