I’m a past club racer in LOL (Region 18), in 1998 I moved to Florida, (Region 11). I’m now in my second year here in a Mazda RX7. This year I was fortunate to win 10 of 15 races and wrap up the championship in the region. I would like to thank all of the people in the LOL region who helped me when I first started back in 1994. In SEDIV they split the early RX7’s from the rest of the ITA cars, giving us a class called IT7. I contested the season with 10 other cars, however, I would have won ITA also, that being a field of 25 cars. The racing is more frequent and kinda warm here (6 weekends Moroso & Homestead) but no less competitive than LOL. Next season I’ll be in my new EP ride and I look forward to racing some of my old LOL buddies at some nat’l events. Hope everybody back there had a good season. Thanks again!
