Fubar, continued from page 6 BIR racing season. For the first time since the event moved from Road Atlanta, it is my plan to attend this year’s RUNOFFS. Lynn Anderson enlisted the aid of Chad Lemmons and secured a Tower Media pass for me. By happy circumstance the event coincides with my simulator session at Toledo’s Flight Safety facility. To my knowledge LOL RUNOFFS qualifiers are as follow: EP-Norm Nelson; FP-Dean Johnson and Helmut Friedrich; GT-3-Jon Braake; AS-Harvey West; FC-Steve Thomson; F500-Steve Jondal; SRF-Gerry Kraut and Scott Goosby; CSR-Wally Butler. (Ed. note: Scott Goosby did not go to the Runoffs.) I will attempt to touch bases with this group and other LOL workers and maybe get results in for this issue, but any detailed report will have to wait until next month. We try to bring posters, hats and anything else racing related that we can find to give away. This started with the Trans Am drivers promoting the Minneapolis Grand Prix and has developed into a community service project of the LOL Competition Board.
