Welcome to the Land O’Lakes Region of the Sports Car Club of America. Inside you’ll find descriptions of all the different ways you can participate in auto racing. Whatever you want to do, our club can provide the program to meet your needs.

If you want to compete in your street car, there’s rally and Solo. Solo is a great place to start if you want to go racing. It gives you a chance to learn and practice the car control skills you’ll need in racing on a closed course.

Let’s say you want to get involved in racing, but don’t want to drive yourself. There are all kinds of support activities: corner working, emergency services, grid, paddock, pit, technical inspection, timing and scoring, which will satisfy your racing urge.If you want to jump in with both feet, we have racing programs that fit all budgets and desires. From racing street-legal cars in Showroom Stock classes, to racing high-powered, purpose built racing cars in TransAm, we cover the spectrum.

Let’s say you’d rather race on dirt than asphalt, well, we have the programs for you. There’s RallyCross, which races on a closed dirt course, and ProRally, which is running your car on a controlled course on forest roads.

But I think the best thing we have to offer are more people. You won’t find a friendlier, or more interesting bunch anywhere. And if you want to talk racing, this is the group. If you want to get involved, fill out a membership form or come to our March general membership meeting, and check out what we have to offer. I look forward to talking to you.
